There is so much going on for a better world all around us that the mainstream media never shares. Many different movements for social change are beginning to converge into a global movement for a Culture of Peace.

The Culture of Peace Initiative (CPI) is a United Nations-designated Peace Messenger Initiative, coordinated by Pathways To Peace. It is a cooperative movement to unite the strengths of existing organizations and projects toward making Peace a practical reality in the 21st century. The annual highlight of the initiative is International Day of Peace, which is celebrated worldwide on September 21.

Culture of Peace Initiative (CPI) works in the emerging field of Peacebuilding and seeks to inspire the Peacebuilding community by sharing ideas and resources.

It is also the purpose of CPI to provide a space where Peacebuilders in all parts of the world can connect and communicate. Participating organizations and individuals are welcome to meet on the interactive CPI Group. Read more under Peace Networking!
